Official procedure
1. Confirm the correct Romanian or Schengen route and whether an invitation, employer notice or IGI approval is required.
2. Complete the employer, school, host, business or preliminary-authority stage where applicable.
3. Submit the correct eViza and consular application, or in-country IGI application, with supporting evidence.
4. Complete fees, originals, biometrics, medical, police and interview requirements where applicable.
5. Await the decision and complete entry, residence extension and permit-card steps within the required deadlines.
