Who this programme suits

For an eligible foreign resident meeting a statutory family, protection, duration-of-stay or integration basis.

Main eligibility points

A recognised statutory basis, qualifying lawful residence where required, stable integration, resources when applicable, civil records and admissibility.

Documents to prepare

Valid passport and identity records
Civil-status and relationship documents where relevant
Route-specific invitation, admission, work authorisation, employment contract, hosting agreement, business plan, investment or family evidence
Financial, accommodation and health-insurance evidence where required
Police, medical, qualification, language, integration and biometric records where required
Certified translations, legalisation or apostille when requested

Official procedure

1. Confirm the visa requirement and exact short-stay, long-stay, residence, work, family or protection route.
2. Complete the Campus France, employer work-authorisation, host, company, family or other preliminary stage where applicable.
3. Submit the correct France-Visas, consular, ANEF, prefecture or protection application with route-specific evidence.
4. Complete fees, originals, biometrics, medical, civil-status, interview and integration requirements where applicable.
5. Await the decision, travel only when authorised, validate the VLS-TS or request the residence document within the applicable deadline.
