Official procedure
1. Confirm the correct Croatian or Schengen route and whether a visa, labour-market test, employment-service opinion or prior permit is required.
2. Complete the employer, school, host, mobility or preliminary-authority stage where applicable.
3. Submit the correct consular, police-administration or police-station application with supporting evidence.
4. Complete fees, originals, biometrics, medical, police and interview requirements where applicable.
5. Await the decision and complete entry, address registration and biometric residence-card steps within the required deadlines.
