Main eligibility points
Qualifying remote work outside Croatia, current statutory income, health insurance, accommodation, clean record and no Croatian employer.

Official procedure
1. Confirm the correct Croatian or Schengen route and whether a visa, labour-market test, employment-service opinion or prior permit is required.
2. Complete the employer, school, host, mobility or preliminary-authority stage where applicable.
3. Submit the correct consular, police-administration or police-station application with supporting evidence.
4. Complete fees, originals, biometrics, medical, police and interview requirements where applicable.
5. Await the decision and complete entry, address registration and biometric residence-card steps within the required deadlines.
